I had an opportunity to play a great blues session this weekend. I was just hanging round with two friends, an excellent pianist and a good guitar player. The pianist played a couple of his songs for us to get our opinion. Then he asked the guitar player to play something to us. I just happened to have a harp with me and I mentioned it. Without a word the pianist started playing 12 bar blues progression and we started jamming. We played a slow blues in the candellight, the feeling was absolutely fantastic. It was almost a religious experience. It was the best playing i have done in a long time. Playing was so easy and effortless. Anyway I just had to tell someone who understands.
