I am sorry to report that our disks over at Net Results (Garply) filled up and, apparently, we have been off-line for almost 24 hours. I hope we will be up and running soon and that you will receive this realtively quickly ;-). When you DO receive this mail, please read through it quickly to help us ease our way back into normal traffic.
First, no need to ask the list or comment on the outage as we are probably already inundated with messages of the sort ;-). By now I think we ALL have noticed. Second, wait about 24 hours for things to get rolling to be sure any posts you might have sent did not get to the list. If it doesn't show up within 24 hours of when we resume service you can assume that it didn't go through. however, there may be a backlog of things for majordomo to do, so don't expect fast results right away. Third, try to avoid the temptation of subscribing/unsubscribing for at least a day - even if this little snafu screws up your mail. Again, majordomo will be catching up with all kinds of requests and this will help me and the machine sort the mail for harp-l that is required to be processed for "normal operations" at an abnormal time ;-).
Sorry for the inconvenience. We are still not 100% sure of the exact causes related to our loss of service, but I trust we will be operational within a short period of time and back discussing materials, tunings, calssical repertoire and other favorite topics soon! Enjoy,
