In looking for a better gasket material what about just rubbing the comb (the
flat part that is in contact with the plates not inside the chambers) with
wax. I know this would not seal the comb, but do you think it would work well
as a gasketing method on wood combed harps? Removing micropore can be a bore.
If this was a viable method you could lightly reapply a thin coat of wax
whenever needed. What do you think?
