Subject: Help for Beginner?

Hi I am new at playing harmonica. I can play single notes well enough, both
by pucker and TB (pucker is still easier) I can play octives, and can do both
blow and draw bends but don't have good control of them yet.

I have learned to play a lot of folk and cowboy melodies in first position.
I am ready to move on but am at a stumbling point. I am listening to a lot
of records and can't figure out what people are doing. Neil Young, Bob
Dylan, and other folk rocker types don't seem to be too far out of reach, but
I can't figure out too much by ear. Is any tab at this level of playing
abailable anywhere? I figure that if I know what someone is playing when I
listen to a record, I can develop my ear for technique, Am I on the right
track?

Greg Austin

PS I would love to play like John Hammond, but let's stay real! I want
relatively easy but still interesting music to play.
