Subject: Re: Keb Mo

G'Day Andrew,
I saw Keb Mo at the Bryon Bay Blues festival last
Saturday and he just didn't do it for me personnaly.Though most of the
crowd seemed to really like him.
I found his delivery too smooth and some of his
songs verging on pop.
Er sorta like George Benson on a Dobro. No harp either.
I have one of his CDs and it only ever gets played
as background Muzak.
However as always opinions on artists are very
subjective and you may well come to a different conclusion.
I just wouldn't go if you like your acoustic blues a
bit rough 'round the edges.

PS The best artist at the festival,R L Burnside infectious delta boogie
that had the crowd rocking, closed my eyes and could imagine myself in a
road house juke joint on a saturday night circa.........
