Will Filisko lend a brass comb and Lavoie a Ti comb for use in the test?

This avoids one of the criticisms of the SPAH97 test.

This avoids a criticism of the SPAH97 test.

This avoids a criticism of the SPAH97 test.

Also unlike previous tests, the same set of reed plates and cover

This avoids a criticism of the SPAH97 test.

It was suggested beforehand that the SPAH97 test be designed and supervised by
a Phd-degreed academic with a knowledge of blind scientific testing and of
statistics. Unfortunately, you just got Vern in 97.

This avoids a criticism of the SPAH97 test.

John's design controls the variables that left the SPAH97 test open to
criticism and the results open to doubt.

I won't be there. However, I hope that all of you harp-l Buckeye attendees
will participate. The harmonica community should be grateful to John for
organizing and conducting this vastly-improved materials test.
