Alan Wilson is an excellent "subjective" harp player, no doubt about it.
However, you views on Gels and Magic Dick would probably be different if you
did own some Bluestime and if you had more in your Geils collection than
Full House, in my opinion, their worst release.

Canned Heat mentioned in the same sentence with the phrase British
Invasion? I don't think so and Alan Wilson's subjectively a much better
harmonica player than even Magic Dick. I can't tell you the last time I
pulled out my old vinyl of Full House, Uncanned's in my CD player on a
regular basis. I own absolutely no Bluestime and if J. Geils came to
town I'd most likely skip the show. Diversity in the marketplace, it
keeps things interesting. fjm
