I think Magic Dick was mentioned in the first place because he played in a
rock band (as opposed to a blues band), rather than because of any sort of
competency level - as I explained in another post, that was just something
to do with the way my brain sorts harmonica players. I didn't really think
too much about the fact that other harmonica players may have different
brains, or I would've worded it more foxily (sly, like, and a bit sexy)...

Well, as far as I'm aware, Jagger must've started playing on the records
round about 1968, with Beggar's Banquet, although he MAY have played on some
of the earlier stuff. I can't say for definite that even BB was him, but
the next album (Let It Bleed, 1969) definitely has his name attached to the
harp credits..... What do you mean about Aerosmith? You don't remember
Steven Tyler playing harmonica in their earlier years?! Their first album
has quite a bit...
