One other modern piece of gear to consider is the new Pignose 60W head.
This is an all-tube amp that I own in the combo (1X12) configuration. Out
of the box it's a fine harp amp, despite the Chinese speaker. The head only
would likely be killer with an external cabinet with good speakers in it.
For the money, it's definitely worth checking out.
