Subject: 545S 4pin info

I found a great deal on a 545S "butter" mic,($81).

I have the cable with it but it is cut off on the amp/pa end.
It has red-black-clear wires exposed.
This is a 545S 4 pin model.

Does anyone have one of these mic's? Can you verify the connection to 1/4" or
standard
low-z ?

BTW- I did ask Tom Ellis. He told me it was dual, even tho it is not a 545D.
Tom refered me to Shure(hey,I didn't buy it from him).

I have asked Shure about the wiring but they are not forthcomming (yet) with
info.

I assUme I could just try it w/red=tip, black=sleeve & clear=gnd but I thought
I'd check first.

Looking forward to trying this mic as I have heard many great things here on
the"L".
