An internet search on Blind Owl revealed a few unexpected surprises. Besides the numerous pointers to my Dobie Gillis website http://home.inreach.com/blindowl and the insufficient number of pointers to the great Alan "Blind Owl" Wilson, I learned that there is a Belgian blues band called "The Blind Owls" with a pretty cool website (nice picture of Sonny Boy Williamson animates out of a Fender Bassman), an Appalachian hiking website dedicated to the memory of a cancer victim named Rich "Blind Owl" Sprow, and, if I ever visit Orlando, Florida, I might want to take a cruise down Blind Owl Drive!
