Subject: Air on a G reed

I was listening to the George Fields Bach CD and alternating between
amazement at the talents of George Fields and JS Bach. There's
somethign about Fields' tone that I find completely spellbinding -
I get images of completely dark caverns with streams of silver
illuminating the darkness. I think I could listen to him playing
scales and be enthralled.

However, on the CD he is playing Bach, and Bach pieces I've never
heard before. This is not difficult, since my Bach experience is
almost completely limited to "Toccata and Fugue in Dm" and the above
mentioned "Air on a G string" (which I've been told is not a real name
of the piece, but just something attached to it once it became
popular). So while I'm enjoying getting to hear more Bach, I wonder
if there are any recordings (by Fields or others) of the "Air" piece?

BTW, if you're new to the list, make sure you get your copy of "The
Bach stops Here" at http://www.bassharp.com/fields.htm .
