Subject: AW: 2nd hole bend

Hi Ante,

I've had the same problem like you and I'd like to tell you how I mastered
it. The best suggestion I get for bending is from Jerry Portnoy Masterclass.
He suggest:

1. Sing the vocals EEEEEE, UUUUUU, OOOOO at the right pitch (G Gb, F)
without the harp and feel the shape of your mouth and tongue positions while
changing from E to U to O. Changing vocal your tongue will move back and
with E the sound is 'produced' in front of your mouth, with O the sound is
produced deeper in your throat.
2. Try this with the harp but the point is: think of the vocal you want to
play (but don't vocalise while playing) and at the pitch you espect BEFORE
you play.
3. Play and practice regularly. Exercising bendings is something for your
lifetime (like throat vibrato).

>> must I force my reeds with practice, so they would produce the
bend
Try with keeee, kuuuu, koooo instead.

With this my bendings has inproved a lot.

>> sorry for the spelling mistakes, I'm not natural english speaker.

I'm also not a english speaker.

Bye
Diego
