Hey, I'm really enjoying Harp-L- Digest. Learning alot.
I have a chance to buy a 59 Gibson Skylark
amp for 115.00. The owner says, he thinks it has a 10" with 12AX7 tubes. No gain, bass or treble controls. Would this be good for harp? Also he has a Fender Vibro Champ, 68 model. It also has 12AX7 and 6V3 and 6V6's. 10'' speaker. Wants 115.00 for it also. Would the Fender have the best sound? Is the price right? Oh yeah, the Vibro Champ has a blown fuse. Said he had'nt played it for quite a while and when he turned it on, it blew. Appreciate your replies.
