Subject: ADMINISTRATIVE: Re: Dave Therault

Hi all,

I don't think it's necessary for us to argue amongst ourselves
over this issue. Both sides are correct. All we are doing is
poisoning the well from which we all drink. It is important to
remember that, in the harmonica community, we live by our
reputation alone. We can't shield Dave Therault or Hering, for
that matter, from criticism about how they do business in this
community. However, we can refrain from arguing amongst
ourselves and letting the issue turn ugly. Inevitably, the
customer and supplier both lose when any supplier can't fulfill
their obligations. We all hope that Dave is all right and that
he will return in "full force" to the list and the community. In
the meantime, all we can ascertain is that he cannot be reached
and that he hasn't filled his back orders to date. No need to
dwell on it or get nasty. Everyone should use appropriate
precautions when dealing with someone over the internet at all
times. My experiences have been very positive, but there are
always problems with various suppliers. We need to know what
these are and the suppliers need to be able to take the heat if
they are willing to enter the kitchen. Try to be nice ;-).
Unless you have pertinent information, please don't add to this
thread. Thanks,

Michael
