well i'm searching for another amp again... something a bit smaller and less powerful but with the reliability of a new amp. i just got my victoria 45410-T about two weeks ago and i absolutely love it. perfect tone and incredible power... unfortunately it's a bit too much for smaller and mid sized clubs. so i'm looking for something that'll give me that same top quality tone and durability in a smaller, easy to transport package. i think right now it's between the victoria 35210-T, the little 2x10" that is basically a brand new tweed super, and the sonny jr. 1. i've never heard or seen the sonny so i'm up for suggestions and what not. of course one of the things i love about the victoria is the fact that you know you're getting the best thing out there with their lifetime warranty and top notch service. what are the thoughts on the sonny jr 1 in this area? i've noticed a number of them for sale and would like to know why people are getting rid of them. well, i guess you all get the idea. i'd like to hear what you've all got to say and also what, if anything, anyone is selling along these lines. if someone has one of these they want to get rid of i just might take it off your hands. let me know.
btw, going along with the thread about the 50s danelctro FS and little walter... yeah, i have half of one of those dano commandos that they say little walter used. it was actually an amp with 8 8" speakers i believe. it would open up and each half had 4 speakers in it. i have the side that didn't have the amplifier in it though. it does have four origional 1955 8" rola speakers though and they're in absolutley fantastic condition. it'd probably sound great plugged into a sonny jr... :)
