Now, keep in mind that these are invited guests, and at this printing time, we cannot not guarantee that they will all appear, although they all did express a profound desire to take part in this. Should any one of them NOT show up, I can confidently state that your cost of admission will be refunded, if you so desire.
The band backing these players is first rate... featuring Slam Allen on guitar and Bobby Forresta on Hammond organ, they will be kicking off the shinding with their own set at 9 pm. There will also be the opportunity for other players to join in the jam session later that evening.

The 2nd Annual Covina Bluesapalooza Festival is sponsored by the Covina Cultural Arts Commision. The festival runs from noon to 8:30 PM at seven venues located in Covina's Historic Downtown. Covina is located 20 miles East of Los Angeles in the heart of the San Gabriel Valley nestled between the 10 and 210 Freeways. Over a dozen performers are scheduled for this years event. This years headliner is Rod Piazza and the Mighty Flyers, winner of the 1999 W.C. Handy Blues Award - Blues Band of the Year. The other performers include Tom Ball and Ken Sultan, Johnny Dyer, Stan West Band, Ramona Smith, Doug MacLeod and Juke Logan, and BJ Sharp.
