Subject: amp fan idea

I was at my amp tech's house the other day,and he has a Bassman with a fan
hooked up to the rear of the cabinet to keep the tubes cool. Now this guy was
a Fender tech for many years and he ran the amp class at the Masterclass in
San Jose.He said when you have expensive tubes in the back of your amp it's a
good idea to keep them cool if you play at home alot.He uses a computer fan
that you can get at Antique Electronic supply or similar place,it's about
3"X3" and you get some 1" "L" brackets from the hardware store along with
some small battery clamps, some nuts and bolts,a 6' cable with a plug on the
end,put it all together and keep em' cool!
