You'll have to excuse Sam's compulsion towards sardonic humor-a 6-9
octave is not evil, it's only misunderstood, that's all.
That's an octave interval played with the toungue covering two or three
reeds in the middle. A 3-6 octave is the same thing, but lower.
It has to do with the Le Riff debate-Sam is afraid if that we play it
wrong, we'll wind up with Little Walter's negative personal
characteristcs, including heavy drinking, fighting, and waving guns
around onstage. But that's just not the case.
There really is a 6-9 at the stops in Juke, tho. Can you handle it, Sam?
