Subject: Bittersweet

To all,

Thinking of the release of our CD (Gordon Bonham Band, Low Down and
Blue) brought something else to mind. I doubt anyone has taken any notice
of this, but our CD was reviewed in Blues Review this month. I haven't seen
it yet, but sources have told me that the favorable harp compliments have
gone to Smokin' Dave!---who just happens to be our bassist. Duh!
If you've actually seen this thing I'd be interested in hearing what it
said. Hmmm...first time reviewed in a national mag (for me personally) and
my name is left out. Must be a sign: doomed to toil in obscurity. A big
thanks to the journalists at Blues Review. I guess it was early in the
morning and the coffee wasn't ready yet.
