Subject: Bill Price's Nickname

I remember back in the 60's Tony Glover, a fine player and writer of the
book I learned from back then, was Tony "Little Sun" Glover. The liner
notes to one of his records mentioned that the derivation of the nickname
was "personal," which I always found amusing.

I think you might consider taking a nickname that you then keep completely
secret. As in
Bill "I Have A Nickname But It's None Of Your Goddam Business" Price.

Not as good maybe, but since as far as I've read in the digest nobody else
has suggested it:
Bill "Picture your ad here; Call for rates" Price

Actually I kind of like the idea of a nickname with a semicolon in it.
