Subject: *** Harp On! : Calling for Chromatic Customizer's reviews WAS Romel Custom Harps ***

Hi all.
I wasn't going to do this until after new years.
But Bjarne has really given me a fantastic lead in which I'd be silly to
pass up on.

I am going to be starting a ~non-competitive~ review page of Chromatic harp
customisers on the Harp On! website.
A number of good to flattering comments were made about customisers with
some of the chromatic harp reviews - and I was asked if I had thought of
doing this.

Well, I will, next year.

So this is a call to all chromatic harp customisers out there, to let me
know you are out there and tell what services you offer, a few pictures of
your work/harmonicas and internet details so I can throw in links, addresses
and use your page header as a header for your reviews.

And to their customers - let me know who you have enjoyed used and what sort
of work you have had done.

Bill has had a head start in this (besides Bjarne's review).
But I'll wait until I get material from some of you other geniuses out there
before I put anything up. I'll probably start early next year, or at latest
by February.

By the way. I don't really want comparisons between service, this isn't
meant to be a competition, its a chance for people to read about peoples
experiences with customisers and what can be done.

This way when someone asks "who can do such & such with my dying Hohner 270
?", in addition to peoples comments on harp-l, they can also check out the
review page and see whats available.

A quick note: Douglas Tate has kindly given me a very large and complete &
up to date list of music that is useful to learn to play chromatic harmonica
on.
It is copyright and there for reference only. Thanks again Doug.

All the best.
G

PS
To Bjarne - offlist: may I use your review as well ?
