I just got me copy of Tom Ball's new book, "Sourcebook Of Little Walter/Big Walter Licks For Blues Harmonica," and MOST of the 69 killer licks that Tom presents and demonstrates in his new book are done on a Bb harp.
Mere Coincidence? Or was it shrewd planning in anticipation of this Bb harp thread? Hmmmmmm. ;-)
In any case, how Tom's managed not to mention this fact with all this talk about Bb harps shows a tremendous amount of restraint. :-)
I'm extremely impressed with Tom's work in this book. Filled with some GREAT information on two of Blues Harp's most influential players, and some awesome licks. I'm gonna be busy for a while.
For a "lowly pucker player" Tom does a great job of emulating the styles of the greats.
