Subject: best brand of low key harps

Can anyone recommend a good model harp for the lower keys, low-F on down?

I know it's 99% to do with my ability, but I've previously found Lee Oskar
low-F harps too bland - very difficult to articulate the notes and get any
variation in tone. are any of the other brands a bit "brighter"? and yep,
I know it's mostly all down to being able to precisely bend those long
reeds, but I certainly found a huge difference between those harps and an
ordinary "G" harp.

Had the same problem with a 12-hole 1896, come to think - found that harp
unnaturally dull-sounding and difficult to play, even in the mid-register.
I sounded nothing at all like Sugar Blue doing "Another Man Done Gone"....
