On February 6th I had the pleasure of attending the Toronto Blues Society's annual Maple Blues Awards. Voters from across Canada selected their favourite Canadian musicians in several categories. The Harmonica Player of the Year award was a tie. Winners were Carlos del Junco and Michael Pickett, two great players with very different styles.
