Subject: Re: Acoustic Stories and Acoustic Harper's

The harp player on Acoustic Stories is John Neremberg.

Several acoustic harp albums (at least predominantly acoustic harp)
which I have and like are:

James Cotton - Deep in the Blues (killer! - raspy vocals but what tone)
Lightin Hopkins & Sonny Terry - Last Night Blues
Big Joe Williams & Sonny Boy Williamson I - Throw a Boogie Woogie
Little Hatch - Goin Back (not acoustic but has that feel)
Paul Rishell & Annie Raines - I Want You To Know (mixed amp'd &
acoustic)
Johnny Shines - Too Wet to Plow (Sugar Blue - harp)
Big Joe Williams - Walking Blues (Larry Johnson - harp)
Big Joe Williams - Stavin Chain Blues (J.D. Short - harp)
Sidney Maiden - Trouble and Blues
Little Whitt and Big Bo - Moody Swamp Blues
Chephas and Wiggins - Sweet Bitter Blues

Almost anything by Sonny Terry, John Lee (Sonny Boy I) Williamson, or
Rice Miller (Sonny Boy II) will be predominantly acoustic.
