Subject: Best use of practice time

What is the best way to practice alone? I see 5 main sides to practice:
1.Techniques, including pitch control.
2.Scales and arpeggios
3.Learning solos note for note and analyzing them
4. Playing along with music or just jamming on your own.
5.Reading music.
I have gone through years where different ones were emphasized. I have come
to fear learning solos note for note as I am disheartened by the multitudes
who sound like copycats to me. Yet I still do it with my students, so it is
not completely out of my regiment. Still, I hung with Dennis Greunling who
said his big advancement period was a year of learning note for note. 2
years ago I learned around 20 Sonny Boy II solos.
I would say my current breakdown is as follows:
60% scales and arpeggios
25% Jamming with and without records
5% each of the remaining three.
What's your regiments?
