Craig J. Struble asks,

<switch at the xlr end?>>

Craig, I don't know where to order a complete cable, but if you're serious
about this, then the Neutrik brand XLR connector with on/off switch is part
#
568-NC3FX-S in the Mouser Electronics catalog. It's price~$10.04.
Install it yourself or pay a tech to do it. You can just cut one plug off a
standard guitar cord and hook up the Neutrik plug: connect the outer braided
wiring of the cord (ground) to pin #1 and the inner wire (hot/tip) to pin #3
in the connector. Get those connections right or you won't hear anything
from the mic; they're different from the way XLR cords are usually
connected.

I made a low-impedance cable to use with a switchless vocal mic at jams so I
could shut the mic off when I wasn't playing. The Neutrik switch is a
plastic ring that isn't exactly confidence-inspiring, but mine is holding up
fine. I may yet make up another cable to work with my JT30.

You can find Mouser at www.mouser.com if you haven't dealt with them before.
They don't mind puny orders.
