Hi all! Iīd like to share my brief experiences with Line 6 Pod 2.0.I bought one today and spent five hours playing it.I like it.Itīs the best overdrive effect Iīve tried so far because it has no overdrive but amp models (modeled after Champ,Bassman etc) and 32 of them (this is the new model of 2.0).It also has effects (rewerb,delays,compressor,Leslie-emulator etc) but I didnīt try these out too much (rewerb is,in my opinion, most useful of these). But I did try out the different amp models and found out that some worked better than others.I especially liked the Tube Preamp and Black Panel. Also Brit Blues and Brit classic worked fine.In my opinion,Small Tweed and Tweed Blues (modeled after ī59 Bassman, didnīt work so well, mainly because these feedback quite easily).I liked the fact that rewerbs were "original" (like in original amps).I tried POD out with two mikes:GB520DX and Shure 57 (I have a transformer(?) that makes it high-impedance) and I have to say that,f! or me,the 57 worked better on most amps (GB was maybe better for Tweeds...?).This maybe (partly?)because it is easier for me to make an airtight "cup" with 57 than GB (because 57 is smaller).57 is works great with or without the POD.I played thru Blues jr. with just master and volume (both on 4-5).I feel POD feedbacks less than I thought it would, much less than my Boss SuperOverdrive!!!(going to sell it anyway).I also tried POD thru PA and it seemed to work there too!! POD is not cheap but I feel (now anyway) its worth the money (hmm...almost,anyway).Hope somebody got something out of this! Regards,V-P.H P.S. Iīd like to thank "G" for recommending this POD.Seems to be the thing for me! Thanks!
