You're welcome ! When I strike gold, I try to spread it around. I'm planning a feature on Bill for the next issue of Planet Harmonica.
Speaking of which, I just struck gold for all harmonica jazz fans :
on the TV website www.alatele.com there are two shows of particular interest to harmonica players. They are both in the "Musique" section then in the "Jazz" part.
You will find four shows :
Number one lasts 40 minutes and features JJ Milteau and Olivier Ker-Ourio. It starts with both of them playing "Watermelon Man". Then they talk a lot, then about a third through, Olivier plays an acoustic version of "Entre deux mers", a track from his album "Oté l'Ancêtre !". At the end of the show they both play together on Duke's "C-Jam Blues".
Number two lasts 16 minutes and features Toots Thielemans and Olivier Ker-Ourio on the occasion of Toots recording a track on Olivier's next album. (French speaking recommended)
Number three is a one minute clip from an Olivier Ker-Ourio concert.
Number four is a 53 minutes documentary on Olivier Ker Ourio (French speaking recommended)
Alls hows are interesting but I strongly recommend a high bandwidth connection to view them.
