SECOND: An exciting development - I want to let you all know about Harp On! HEA email group. http://www.angelfire.com/music/HarpOn/harponhea.html "Harmonica Exploration & Advancement"
This new harmonica email group was created and announced on Saturday 3rd of March.
Its highly focused on discussing any topic that leads to investigating innovations and improvements to the harmonica instrument, advancing the expectations of harmonica musicians, their knowledge base, raising expectations from the instrument as well as how we can raise the public's awareness of the instrument as a serious instrument & make it more popular.
If you feel you can actively participate or would like to learn more about these things I warmly invite you to join this group by sending a blank email to: harp~ahoogroups.com
Plesase take a moment to read the Vision Statement and Guidelines before posting to the group, its very brief! Just visit Harp On! CHR, theres a reference to the group which you can click on that will bring up the appropriate page. http://www.angelfire.com/music/HarpOn
To date we have 50 active members (also co-members of HarpTalk/Harp-L & Slidemeister) after just 3 days and are expecting many more over the next few months.
This is intended as a sub-culture or supplimentary group in addition to the three main email groups of our wonderful community... so far the results have been fantastic.
