If it's the original theme, you're right about the
bass harp but wrong about Toots. It was Tommy Morgan
playing both diatonic and bass harp.

Both Tommy and Toots have worked quite a bit over the
years with Quincy Jones, who did the Sanford & Son
theme. Sometimes people assume it's onw player whne in
fact it's another.

On the other hand, maybe you have a different version
that Toots did on his own. But the bass harp part
(Toots doesn't play bass harp) leads me to think
you've probably got the original.
