Had the pleasure of attending and participating in a great blues jam
last night. Very good house band and talented jammers. At times we had
three saxes and a keyboard too. After an evening of great blues, four
young musicians joined the house band and kicked off a neat James
Brown instrumental followed by Miles Davis' "All Blues". This is a
great tune and a nice change from the usual blues standards. Blue Jazz
at its best. I want to learn some of the horn lines for this piece and
wonder if any of you have tried to play it on harp and if so, what harp
position should I use?
