Subject: A Sad Story

Hi. I'm a 12 year old kid who used to really love harmonica. But some of the
posts I've seen lately- especially those disparaging HipHop and Remix- made
me instead decide to run away from home and sell scrap metal.

While I was waiting for a bus a dominant-culture-looking-dude molested me.
On my way to report this crime- pre-occupied with the way DJ's had been
dissed on this list- I absent-mindedly threw my fry wrapper to the ground.
I- - - I'd never littered before, but, somehow, nothing seemed so important
anymore.

Please, please Harp-L: Help other kids stay clear from litter and child
molestation. It's too late for me but- - Hey! Watch it! Arrrrggghh!!!- - -

Hi. Robb here. I'm afraid the little boy was hit by a truck. He'd stopped at
my house to beg a few old used reedplates, and use my laptop. A shame I
didn't reach out to him. A shame someone didn't think twice before
badmouthing rap. But now it's too late.

I just hope it's not too late for harmonica in general.
