Gee, I just happened to have written one. It's called Blues and Rock Harmonica, and deals with all that messy theory stuff like modes, sclaes, positions, traids, intervals, as well as the usual beginner stuff.. Positions 1-6 are dealt with in detail and all 12 are laid out in the back of the book for the bold few.
