Subject: Bassman RI bias pot mod in London

I am just about to buy a used 59 Bassman reissue and from reading the harp-l
archives see that it would be a good idea to fit a bias pot as I will change
the rectifier to a tube one (and probably preamp tubes too). Has any body
got the details of how to do this mod, or point me to a web site that
describes how to do it. I don't know a much about tube amps but am
proficient with a soldering iron. Also could someone tell me how to set the
bias. Failing that does anybody know of a good amp tech in London that could
do this mod for me and set my bias.

Thanks

Piers
