Did a gig in Poland (of all places) last week, and found a Hohner "silver star" (code 504/20) in the music store for about 3 us$. It's like a special 20 of less quality, but price/quality absolutely good enough for beginners to start with. Don't know if it's available in the US though (not in Belgium) (they also had a Puck, which I had never seen here - it's a cute miniharp - even got some overblows straight out of the box). lazylew.becke~i.be
