I was approached about a year ago this time with the idea of remarketing the
Blues Tool Rack. The original designer had other commitments and could no
longer make the racks. I declined since it was around the same time I
started
my apprenticeship with the Filisko Guild and didnt have time to focus on
learning how to fix harps and make racks.

He was/is however looking for someone who has the skills to handmake the
racks. You must have high standards as a craftsperson and businessperson.
I believe at the time he had the extra parts for making the racks.

the rack was marketed for around $100 or more. You would be responsible for
keeping the high quality design intact in order to be granted the right to
produce them.
The owner retains the copyright on the rack.

the situation may have changed after a year.

IF someone feels they are qualified to produce the rack at the high
standards
set by the original maker contact me offlist and I will see that your
message
is forwarded to him.

This isnt a casual business that you would do as a weekend hobby.
