Winslow If this were to happen somewhere I'd be there if at all possible - with bells on. I love to see the depth and breadth of this instrument we all love illustrated in as many kinds of music as possible and I think SPAH conventions and the like are probably an ideal place to do it - maybe someday I'll be competent enough to participate (stranger things have happened!).

PS I too am working on tongue blocking combined with lifts and slaps for chords. It feels VERY strange since I'm SO used to puckering. The problem was that I couldn't get consistent chords using puckering and going back and forth from single notes to chords. Maybe I just wasn't trying hard enough. I will have to try flippin the harp upside down! I actually tried this when I was learning Amazing Grace and found that it was somewhat easier to play on the low end of the harp when it was upside down since I was so used to playin it on the high end - it scared me enough that I quit playin it on the low end for now - playin upside down may be a bad habit - or is it??!!??
PSS The really strange thing about the vision of Mike and Natalie playing together is that I could only envision it on a Rita McNeil Special!! :>) Oh an I didn't mean to scare you - again!
