Hi,

I just got 4 harps in the mail which I bought through ebay. They are Johnson Blues Kings. Perhaps some of you have experienced them. I paid $16 including s&h. I expected to get real junk, but had to take a chance. I was pleasantly surprised when I got them. First of all, except for the design on the cover plates, they appear to be built exactly like Hohner Special 20's. I mean almost exactly. I know it's what's inside that counts, and I didn't take them apart, but I've been rather impressed with the sound quality as well as the solid construction. There is one guy who auctions them off constantly on ebay starting with $1.00 and no reserve. He usually sells them in sets of 4 or 12. I'm seriously considering bidding on the 12 set. I think I can get them for under $40, which is about $3.00 a harp. They sell individually in music stores for about $7. Anybody know anything about them. I mean even if I blow them up and throw them away after a few weeks, it's almost still worth it.
