Subject: Chromatic for 3rd position blues

Thanks for the helpful responses to my question. I have a Hohner 270 in
C which I can use in 3rd position for songs in D. However it's
infrequent that the bands I jam with play in D. Do you Chrom players
keep an assortment of chromatics in other keys ($$$) or is the
chromatic (and your skill) versatile enough to adapt to other keys? On
most of the recorded material I have I do not detect too much button
work Do you players usually just ignore the button or do you find it
useful for blues?
