Subject: 2 ply Hohner windsavers

Hi ya,
do you specifically need the Hohner 2 ply type?

If not I have hoardes of home made mylar/micropore windsavers which you just
cut to length and glue on as you need them. I've found them better than any
brand type valves. For one they are only one ply and therefore cannot stick
to themselves. Post me offlist with your address & I'll send you a bunch.

If you do specifically want Hohner's 2 ply - then:

You can order a large number of replacement windsavers from Hohner directly
by phoning them and sending them a check. They don't take email orders, they
don't accept credit (for windsavers) and they don't give discounts to
re-salers. But for US$10 (12 hole chromatic) or US$12 (16 hole chromatic
with cupped valves) you will have a large supply of Hohner windsavers for
your chrom.

from Harp On! Chromatic Harmonica Reference

you'll find this & everything else about windsavers under
"Maintenance", "Windsavers" in the contents.

You can find out contact details by visiting http://www.hohnerusa.com

the details I have for ordering Hohner bits if you are in USA (so no
international orders) ...

Customer Service Department at Hohner
Phone +1 (804) 515-1900

you can send them a check or money order to:
HOHNER, Inc.
P.O. Box 15035
Richmond VA 23227-0435
USA.

Hohner Inc
1000 Technology Park Dr
Glen Allen, VA 23059
USA

Shops can't really make a profit from them, and usually don't stock them as
a result... but Joe's Virtual Music Shop did me a big favour and bought me
some at no profit so I made it part of a deal that made it worth the effort.

Frankly its cheaper, quicker & easier to use mylar / micropore - but thats
just my experience.

Best
