Hi All, I'm pulling out of "lurk" mode to let you know that I'm putting my Hohner 265 Bassharp and some other music related items up for sale. (I'm not sure what those items will be at this time.)
I purchased the harp from a local retired player last year but never took the time to learn how to play it correctly. The harp is a few years old but in good condition and the reed action is good. A thick custom made leather pouch comes with the bassharp. (I had to purchase it separately when I bought the harp.) I will also throw in a book I bought at buckeye on learning how to play the bassharp.
I'm selling the bassharp and other items to offset the cost of buying a midi piano. Its getting tough trying to get a gig as a harp player, especially if you're singing ability is limited. I'm tired of being a sideman to guitargods. Hopefully working on my chops on piano will make me less dependent on having to play harp with (excluding jazz or traditional blues) guitarists.
