Re: american roots music - local PBS affiliates conspire? HarpL Archives

I was looking forward to watching this series, but in the greater San
Francisco Bay Area (including Sacramento) ALL of the PBS affiliates are
not broadcasting it. I have no proof, but I imagine that they (the
local affiliates) work together and have agreements to not broadcast certain
specials until a later month when they are having their fund
drives.

I spot checked the PBS web site and S.F. seems to be the only metro
area where all the affiliates coincidentally are not airing it - sound
suspicious to me.
