Subject: Bassman patch

Hi,
I am using a patch cord from the normal 1 to the bright 2 of my Fender
Bassman while plugging my mike into the normal 2 input. This has boosted the
sound considerably, and overall the amp sounds fuller and brighter than
just
plugging in without the patch cord. My question is will this harm the amp in
the short or long run.
I am also considering tube swaps, but I am going to take the amp to a Fender
rep to bias the amp after the switch. Pardon me if this has been discussed
before and I missed it.

Thanks in advance,
chrisM
