Subject: Bluestime / Help Me

Went to see Bluestime with Magic Dick and Jay Geils
on Saturday at The Turning Point in Piermont, NY. A show
full of blues classics and straight blues numbers, except
for the encore - Whammer Jammer.

A very enjoyable evening, pretty much what I expected.
Two nice surprises were Geils playing some very solid,
if not flashy, guitar, and Dick's sense of humor and story-
telling on stage. A perfect good time blues club type
of show.

PS I'm working on SB's Help Me - Is there a tab floating around?
Especially for the great parts he plays over the IV chord?
Bluestime played at least one SB number and Dick told a
joke that only those familiar with Too Close Together would get
- I always joke with my wife and kids about this song, so, even
though she's not a real blues fan, she got the joke and probably
enjoyed it more that a lot of other people. Incidentally, the
place was packed.
