Last saturday night Carlos played in Bremen. It was the second time that I had the chance to see him. And I did very much enjoy it, he is getting better and better and better... Carlos was accompanied and supported by "Big Steve's Blues Attack" from Detmold/Germany. Great show, with extended solos by Carlos, and beyond it he proved again that he feels at home in many different musical styles. Had the chance to talk with him for half an hour after the show and all I can say: he is a very nice guy and it was a great pleasure for me to meet him. Also got myself a copy of his new CD called "up and at 'em". Not a blues CD, but showing pretty clear what Carlos can do with the harmonica!
