Hi All =A0 I've just bought a copy of an album by Billy Boy Arnold called 'Catfish' (Catfish Records). The recording is from 1977 and the band playing behind Arnold is the Groundhogs. Included in the notes is the following: =A0 '...........Sonny Boy (John Lee) invited him in and gave him a lesson in how to 'choke' the harp..........' =A0 =A0 Could anyone out there explain exactly what to 'choke' means? Also I'd be interested in hearing just how Billy Boy Arnold is regarded in the harp-l community. I think the record and another one I've got called 'Live at the Venue' (same label, recording 1980) are terrific. =A0 Thanks in advance. =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 - -- John Gilmour, j&~ilmours4.worldonline.co.uk on 13/11/2001 at 11:07:25
