Subject: Chromatic major vs. minor

I'm starting to play chromatic a bit more, and I have the note layouts. I
can figure out a basic 3rd position blues in D but just wondering what the
difference is if I want to play in D minor. Not being a music theorist I'm
not sure what the different notes make up the D minor chords. I know a lot
of people will play the chrom. in D minor as well as D. Just wondering the
difference, and thoughts?
