Harmonica virtuoso Tommy Morgan was born on this day in 1932. Easily the
most versatile harmonica player in the world, Tommy harmonica playing has
been featured in the soundtracks of hundreds of movies and television shows
as well as appearing on hundreds of hit records. He's the harmonica player
of choice for Quincy Jones, Henry Mancini, Brian Wilson, John Barry and
more. He's got several solo albums available through his website that I
recommend.

Rock singer and harmonica player "Southside" Johnny Lyon was born on this
day in 1948. Lyon has been a long-time friend of Bruce Springsteen and has
been recording albums since the 1970's. he often plays the harmonica on his
records.
